what do you think they are? some of mine are as follows

nick drake, five leaves left, bryter later and pink moon. Speak for themselves really.
the crazy world of arthur brown s/t. a lot of people remember his hit single fire, i am the god of hell fire! but really, side 1 of this album is all that good, and that funny and that hamand organ!
salyangie, children of the sun. Mike and sally oldfield's wonderful folky hippie album, lovely from start to end.
jimmy smith swinging with the incredible. One of the best organists there ever was, stunning jazz lp!
art pepper, art pepper and 11. Just great cool jazz, what more is there to say?
duke ellington newport 56, what more is there to say about this?
fairport convention s/t, unhalfbricking and what we did on our hollidays. These were the first 3 fairport lps, the first a more psychedelic offering than the latter 2, the latter 2 showcasing sandy denny at, in my opinion, her best.
simon and garfunkel, wednesday morning 3 a.m. Their first and in my opinion best lp, including the sparro, one of my favourite tracks of all time.
tim buckley s/t and happy sad, perhaps blue afternoon too but that got bettter aclaim than the other 2.
trader horne, morning way. Lovely lovely folk album, featuring fairport convention's first singer judy dible, and jackie mcally from them, van morrison's first band i think.
the incredible string band, the 5000 spirits or the layers of the onion, just listen to it and be lyrically amazed, can't really discribe it it just has to be heard...
buddy holly, that'll be the day. Not a best of comp but an early album of his, mabee his first i can't remember rite now, with a more rockabilly sound than his hits, great stuff!
the platters s/t lovely doo wop, from 1956!
joni mitchell, song to a seagul. The rest of her stuff got fairly well known but not this wonderfully dreamy folk lp, one of those that just has to be heard really.
the zodiac cosmic sounds, just trippy psych at it's most moog based trippiest really.

I'll be back...
